In 2008, the Sertões Rally became a stage of the FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup for cars and trucks. This will not happen again in 2009.
This year?s race has crossed seven Brazilian states and will use six as a dormitory city. Goiânia, Tocantins, Bahia, João Pessoa, Pernambuco, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte were pleased to get a close look at the thrill of the largest Brazilian rally.
